Airport Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Kaohsiung International Airport
Introduction The TTY Airport is the main gateway of Taiwan. It can be accessed via over 190 non-stop and direct flights from 56 major cities throughout the world. Situated in Siaogang District, Kaohsiung. It is the second busiest airport in Taiwan.
How to Get to KEC
Taiwan High-Speed Rail Take Taoyuan Airport MRT from MRT Airport Terminal 1/ Airport Terminal 2 Station to High-Speed Rail Taoyuan Station, taking High-Speed Rail to Zuoying Station.  
Metro When you arrive at the Zuoying Station, you can take MRT to Sanduo Shopping District, walking for about 15 minutes. Take the MRT from Kaohsiung International Airport Station to Shihjia Station, walking for around 15 minutes, or to Kaisyuan Station, transferring to the light rail.
Bus   Take Bus 9117 and get off at “Zhongshan Second Road”. You’ll arrive at KEC by walking for approximately 10 minutes.


VISA
Foreign nationals may obtain visas to enter Taiwan if they hold foreign passports or travel documents valid for more than six months for the following purposes: sightseeing, business, family visits, study or training, medical treatment, or other legitimate activities.

A visa to enter Taiwan is not required for passport holders from 64 countries, and stays of up to 14-90 days are permitted. For more information, please visit:

In addition, those holding a Brunei Certificate of Identity are eligible for the visa exemption program, with a duration of stay of up to 14 days.
3. Nationals of the Philippines (effective till July 31, 2023), except those holding diplomatic or official/service passports, are eligible for the visa exemption program, with a duration of stay of up to 14 days

E-Visa
Taiwan has launched an “E-Visa” to better serve delegates. An E-Visa can be obtained easily at a low cost. Nationals of the following countries are eligible for an E-Visa. There is no need to travel to a ROC overseas mission. Delegates can apply and pay the required fee online and also receive their E-Visa.
Nationals of the following countries are eligible for an E-Visa
Bahrain, Burkina Faso, Colombia, Dominica, Ecuador, Kiribati, Kuwait, Mauritius, Montenegro, Oman, Panama, Peru, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Solomon Islands, Turkiye, United Arab Emirates, Kosovo, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.


Special E-Visa
Furthermore, foreign nationals who have been invited to attend international conferences are also eligible for an eVisa. Such foreign nationals must obtain an Ecode from the host organization in Taiwan prior to submitting an online application for an eVisa.

Citizens of Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam can apply online for an R.O.C. (Taiwan) Travel Authorization Certificate from the National Immigration Agency, Ministry of the Interior:
